Darryl began his career in banking in 2022, joining Santander as a teller before quickly progressing to a Personal Banker role after completing his assessments in early 2023. It was during this time that he developed a passion for personal finance and supporting clients with their financial goals.
In June 2025, Darryl moved into a Customer Experience Executive role, where he helped introduce a more in-depth service approach within Santander’s banking hubs and local branches. His growing interest in financial planning led to sponsorship to begin studying for his R01 qualification, a key step towards his goal of becoming a Financial Adviser.
Joining Medical & General as an Administrator felt like a natural next step, allowing him to learn from an experienced team while building the foundations for a future in financial advice.
Outside of work, Darryl is an avid motorsport fan, following racing across multiple disciplines with great enthusiasm. He’s also a keen cold-water swimmer and lives in Exmouth with his partner and their cat, Mika.
